With a length of about 500 meters and a width and height of about 65 meters and 60 meters respectively, this cave opens wide to welcome you. The rock formations on the walls and roof of the cave (including a number of animals nesting there) can be seen using a powerful flashlight.
The name Sinjang Lawang comes from two words in Sundanese, namely sinjang (long cloth) and mace (door). This cave is so named because at its mouth there is a stone wall with a relief similar to a sinjang motif. Visitors can also see similar motifs on the walls of the cave when walking through the cave through the water (visitors can also walk through the cave through the edge which is in the form of a platform after climbing the stairs). Inside the cave there are also several other interesting rock forms, such as the toke rock (gecko) and the umbrella rock.
Towards the end of the cave there is a large hole in the roof through which light enters. The reflection of the sunlight that hits the surface of the river projects a dazzling array of colors onto the cave walls, and can create a certain illusion. Through this hole the roots of the trees dripping with sparkling clear water. Right below the hole there is a large boulder which is a foothold to see the hole more clearly. This stone is also a favorite place to take pictures because of its exotic and mystical scenery and aura. If you enter this cave many times, you may find different views depending on the weather conditions and the position of the sun.
