Labuan Bajo is a small, beautiful harbor on the westernmost tip of the island of Flores and is the gateway to the Komodo National Park (KNP) and other Flores island wonders. At sunset, Labuan Bajo offers a spectacular view as the islets overlooking the harbor silhouette dramatically creating a magical effect.

After Labuan Bajo we can witness Komodo Island which is the main tourist spot in East Nusa Tenggara. Ancient animals resembling giant lizards or Komodo dragons are the main icons holding this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Komodo dragons are the reason everyone visits Komodo Island. With the Latin name Varanus komodoensis, you only need to visit Komodo Island for less than a day.

Don’t worry that hunting Komodo dragons won’t take up much time because you’re going through it while looking at the lives of the people who inhabit the island. The advantages of visiting Komodo Island are now more attractive with other destinations around Komodo Island. You can choose tours in the water first or snorkel on Kambing Island and Kelor Island. Moreover, the ferry package now uses a Pinisi model ship which adds to the attractiveness and experience of water tourism. As a closing visit to Komoda Island, you can wait for the sun to set while watching the sight of thousands of bats flying from their nests.
