“Kepulauan Seribu” literally meaning: the Thousand Islands is a group of islands in Jakarta Bay which stretches for approximately 100 miles with an area of 108,000 hectares or eleven times the land area of Jakarta. How to Get to the Thousand Islands Region
Airway
If we use a plane from Soekarno Hatta airport which is not too far from Muara Angke Harbor, Sunda Kelapa and Marina Ancol, it is faster to use conventional taxi services or online taxis.
Sea
There are several options, if you use a traditional wooden boat and PELNI you can go through the Muara Angke port. Wooden boats are still the most popular among Thousand Islands travelers.
